Chocolate Brownies – Cocoa Powder, Rich & Fudgy
I used a round tin because that’s what I had at home — it works perfectly. But you can use a square or rectangular tin if you prefer, which makes cutting the brownies much easier.
Ingredients
- 225g butter
- 300g sugar
- 112g cocoa powder
- 3 eggs
- 1.5 tsp vanilla
- 120g plain flour
- Pinch of salt
Method
- Melt the butter gently in a saucepan.
- Stir in the sugar and cocoa powder until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla and mix until glossy.
- Fold in the flour and salt until just combined.
- Pour into your tin — round, square, or rectangular.
- Bake at 180°C for 20–25 minutes — a slight wobble means fudgy.
